TYNDALE CONFIRMS SECOND PRINTING OF PALIN BIOGRAPHY
MORE THAN 350,000 COPIES IN PRINT AND AVAILABLE WITHIN A WEEK’S TIME
Carol Stream, IL — In the week since Tyndale House Publishers arranged with Epicenter Press to publish and distribute the softcover edition of Kaylene Johnson’s biography of Governor Sarah Palin, a first printing of 250,000 copies has been placed, with a constant flow of orders to distribution channels throughout the continental United States. Today, less than 24 hours since the first printing was delivered to Tyndale House for distribution, a second printing order has been secured. This second printing, scheduled for a September 17 delivery, will bring the total number of copies in print for SARAH: How a Hockey Mom Turned the Political Establishment Upside Down (ISBN 978-1-4143-3050-1) to 350,000 .
“We knew going into this opportunity that time was of the essence,” said Jeff Johnson, Chief Operating Officer at Tyndale House Publishers. “And it was important for our team to find a printer who could help us turn this around in a few days’ time. Tyndale is about relationships, and we are pleased that Manufacturing Manager Linda Walz and her team are working on this project with a local printing company with whom we have had a wonderful, long-standing partnership.”
Released this spring by Epicenter Press, a regional publisher of nonfiction works about Alaska and its people, SARAH: How a Hockey Mom Turned the Political Establishment Upside Down is the first biography of Governor Palin that has been released, providing insights into her life and political rise, and how she went from being a long-shot candidate to—potentially—one of the world’s most powerful women and political figures.
Tyndale does not endorse political candidates or parties, but chose to publish this book to promote clear thought about the intersection of faith and the public square. Tyndale has also provided a free online discussion guide to engage readers on the subject of faith and politics: http://www.faithandpoliticsdiscussionguide.com/
The electronic e-book version of SARAH: How a Hockey Mom Turned the Political Establishment Upside Down is now available on Amazon Kindle and Sony Reader.
