Ohio State Coach will sign his bestselling book from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24
Carol Stream, Ill. —Tyndale House Publishers today announced that Ohio State University head football coach, Jim Tressel, will sign his bestselling book, The Winners Manual: For the Game of Life, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24, at the William Oxley Thompson Memorial Library on the OSU campus in Columbus. There will be a limited number of signed books per customer, but the consumer may purchase as many as he or she wishes. The book, cowritten with Chris Fabry, was released July 15, 2008, and spent eight weeks on the New York Times bestsellers list, reaching as high as No. 3 on the “Advice, How-To & Miscellaneous” list.

The William Oxley Thompson Memorial Library reopens August 3 after a three year renovation that has transformed the nearly 100-year-old facility into a center for learning and research. The library includes an exciting array of spaces designed for individual and group study, with seating for nearly 1,800 people. More than one million volumes and several unique special collections will be housed in the Thompson Library, which will also have more than 200 computers, wireless internet access and a café. Twin atriums lead to a restored Grand Reading Room, a new glass enclosed contemporary study space, small group study rooms and exhibit spaces for the Libraries’ special collections. Coach Tressel and his wife Ellen co-chaired the fundraising committee which secured more than $21 million toward the project.

All of Coach Tressel’s proceeds from the sale of The Winners Manual will go to the William Oxley Thompson Memorial Library Renovation Fund on the OSU campus.
