Store Manager, Johnsen & Taylor
Are you a leader with retail experience?  Do you have a servant’s heart and desire to invest in others?  If so, you may want to consider this wonderful opportunity!

Wheaton’s newest Christian bookstore, Johnsen & Taylor located in Danada Town Square, is seeking a store manager with experience and knowledge to work with a wonderful and talented retail team.

The primary responsibilities for this position is to manage all operational aspects of the store by effectively increasing sales by marketing and merchandising, managing the buying process, providing excellent customer service, developing and executing events and promotions, and investing in the on-going development of the store staff.

HR Coordinator
Tyndale House is seeking an experienced HR professional who enjoys employment, training and event planning! The primary focus for this position will be to research, develop/design, and lead our in-house training programs for employees and management. An ability to engage at all levels within THP is necessary for success in this position.

This position will also be responsible for the employment process of all warehouse employees and will work closely with warehouse supervisors to handle employee relations issues. The opportunity to use your creative talents will also be provided in this position! Tydings, Tyndale’s bi-weekly in-house newsletter,  is planned, researched, designed/developed and printed by the HR Coordinator.
This entry-level position in our publicity department is a wonderful opportunity for a current college student, a new graduate, or someone looking to re-enter the work-a-day world!

The primary responsibilities for this position will be to assist the in-house publicity team with various clerical and support work.  Excellent phone skills and the ability to work independently will be very important in this role.  Computer skills and strong organizational skills are also needed.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our wonderful in-house Design team! Tyndale is seeking qualified candidates for a designer position. This position will design and produce art and copy layouts for Tyndale’s book covers, interiors, and packaging. Primary responsibilities include initiating and following through on projects from conception to completion by working closely with Art Directors to evaluate an individual project’s needs, preparing comps or prototypes according to instructions of group publishers and Art Directors, working with Art Buyer and Art Directors to select and supervise outside photographers and illustrators, checking final production files and proofs for accuracy in coordination with Art Directors.
Tyndale House is seeking qualified candidates for a lead Shipping position in an on-site warehouse facility. If you have excellent leadership skills and enjoy working in a fast-pasted distribution environment, you will definitely want to consider this position! Primary responsibilities include coordination of metering, stock running, and warehousing processes. This position coordinates the workload with facilities, resources, and personnel, as it relates to shipping. The person in this position will work closely with other leads, the Distribution manager, and Inventory Control to adjust personnel as needed, maintain a smooth workflow, resolve work-related issues, delegate authority within proper limits to achieve the goals of each area, communicate out of stock situations, manage removal of out of print books and return of damaged stock to Returns, as well as coordinate and implement all cycle inventories as directed by Inventory Control.
