iKnow Heaven App Now Avaiable in the iTunes Store!

Heaven is a hot topic. Books about Heaven appear on bestsellers lists. National media feature stories about Heaven. Individuals have recently shared their encounters with Heaven, bringing further attention to the subject.

Bestselling author and biblical scholar Randy Alcorn has studied and written about Heaven for many years. In 2004, Tyndale House released Alcorn’s comprehensive book Heaven, and seven years later, this book regularly appears on bestsellers lists.

Due to the success of Heaven and the related products, Tyndale House Publishers created a mobile media tie-in to Alcorn’s Heaven book. The related item is a free downloadable “I Know Heaven” application for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPod which features content from Randy Alcorn. Now available on the iTunes App Store, the “I Know Heaven App” both entertains and educates in order to increase biblical knowledge about what Christians can expect in Heaven. The “I Know Heaven App” includes a brief video from Randy Alcorn, as well as a list of the entire Heaven product line, available wherever books are sold. Information may be obtained at http://heaveniq.com/, including a link to the iTunes store where the app can be downloaded.

“The ‘I Know Heaven App’ gives users an interesting quiz which tests one’s knowledge on questions about Heaven,” said Maria Eriksen, Marketing Director. “Many people are not aware that the Bible gives us many hints as to what awaits Christians after death. We hope this unique resource will encourage many users to consider Randy Alcorn’s helpful writings on what the Bible tells us about Heaven; it can also serve as an interesting tool for evangelism.”

“Heaven is really something to get excited about,” says Randy Alcorn. “May your imagination soar and your heart rejoice as you meditate on the Bible’s truths about Heaven.”

Randy Alcorn is the founder and director of Eternal Perspective Ministries (EPM). Prior to 1990, when he started EPM, he served as a pastor for 14 years. He has spoken around the world and has taught on the adjunct faculties of Multnomah Bible College and Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. He is the author of more than 35 fiction and nonfiction books, including Heaven and other bestsellers. His novel Safely Home (Tyndale, 2001) received ECPA’s Gold Medallion for Fiction. www.epm.org
